Who and How of Hiring

1. students apply to be interviewers – selected by prof.
2. remaining students are interviewees – give resumes to interviewers during speed group interviewing
3. all interviewers have budget of $200k to hire 3 students (teams of 4 total)
   • employees must take highest offer
   • interviewees may negotiate offers
4. interviewing in class on Mon, offers done by email from M-Sat (prof. cc’d)
5. award for most frugal interviewer; award for highest individual offer; award for fastest team formed

• could add award for diversity in team
• schedule compatibility can be included in interview
• in real world, don’t get to pick team – can’t (necessarily) whine to boss
